Thu brings a unique set of skills to the Ryan Carlisle Thomas team. She received her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) together with Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Monash University in 2021, and holds an interest in the intersect between health, medicine and the law. She is motivated by her empathy and passion to help those around her, and will fight tenaciously to bring light to clients in a dark place.
Having completed her Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law in 2022 and as a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, she’s an asset to our worker’s compensation (WorkCover), road injury (TAC claims), injury in public places and medical negligence teams.
While at university, Thu had the privilege of volunteering with the South East Monash Legal Service and SECASA, as well as with Victoria Legal Aid in providing assistance to victims of family violence.
Outside of the legal field, Thu has a great love of nature, regularly going on hikes as well as spending time gardening and, of course, enjoying all the incredible food and produce that Melbourne has to offer.
Thu also speaks Vietnamese which helps break down the barrier that many clients face when seeking legal assistance.
