About the Role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Probate & Estate Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team at the Dandenong office on a full-time basis. Applicants interested in working from any of our other locations, should also apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • file management
  • diary management
  • monitoring and managing inboxes
  • answering and managing incoming calls
  • assisting with preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney and Probate Applications
  • assisting senior lawyers with Estate work including litigated matters
  • drafting documentation and correspondence

Key Skills

  • minimum of 5 years Probate and Deceased Estate litigation experience
  • exceptional administrative skills
  • proficient with PEXA for lodging survivorship and transmission applications
  • proficient with State Revenue Office – Duties Online
  • good problem solving skills with the ability to take initiative and be resourceful
  • highly developed customer service and communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) skills
  • excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent telephone manner
  • the ability to work as part of a team
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • experience with Affinity preferable but not essential
