A graduate of Bond University, where she completed her Bachelor of Laws in 2020, Lena brings diverse and valuable legal experience to the firm. She began her career as an Analyst at Deloitte, specialising in corporate immigration, before transitioning to personal injury practice. In her previous roles, she has developed comprehensive expertise in personal injury matters and victims of crime work, gaining insight into the multifaceted challenges faced by vulnerable clients seeking justice and compensation.
Lena was drawn to Ryan Carlisle Thomas by the opportunity to assist people on a larger scale during their worst times. Her commitment to access to justice extends beyond her professional practice—she has volunteered at free law clinics in both Melbourne and the Gold Coast, demonstrating her dedication to helping those who might otherwise struggle to obtain legal representation.

Lena brings additional value to the firm’s diverse client base through her language skills, including basic Harari (an Ethiopian dialect) and the ability to read and write Arabic, which helps bridge communication gaps for clients from various cultural backgrounds.
Outside of work, Lena enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors, pursuits that provide balance and perspective to complement her demanding but rewarding legal practice.
