Humera Ginai is an associate here at Ryan Carlisle Thomas specialising in personal injury and institutional abuse law, where she brings a committed, caring and courageous approach to supporting clients through difficult circumstances.
Humera graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University in 2022 and was admitted in 2023. She has also enhanced her legal expertise through the completion of additional courses at the Hague Academy of International Law.
Before joining Ryan Carlisle Thomas, Humera gained valuable experience assisting on road injury and medical negligence cases and working as a lawyer handling workers compensation cases as well, helping build her personal injury experience.
Humera’s commitment to social justice extends beyond her work, having previously volunteered with several organisations including Refugee Legal, the Australian Institute of Affairs and the Asian Australian Lawyers Association and has served as a business and law mentor during her time at Deakin University.
Humera was drawn to the firm’s unwavering commitment to improving clients’ lives through communication, care, and dedication, allowing her the opportunity to pursue social justice and create positive impacts for individuals and communities.
Her professional goal is to become an accredited specialist in personal injury law, and outside of the office, she enjoys painting, exploring Melbourne, and traveling whenever possible.
