Family And Relationship Law, Wills And Probate
Mei is a very experienced family lawyer who is used to managing diverse matters. These include parenting disputes which might involve serious family violence, mental health, sexual abuse, or substance abuse. Other matters might relate to the interests of non-biological parents such as grandparents, as well as the resolution of complex property cases which feature international assets.
In addition, Mei has dealt with urgent family law applications, spousal and de facto partner maintenance, financial agreements and child support agreements.
She also appears at the Magistrates’ Court for Intervention Order matters.
Mei takes a holistic approach which acknowledges the uniqueness of each client and their circumstances. She works sympathetically to identify objectives and goals and tailors strategies to reflect this.
Mei particularly enjoys working with the LGBTIQA+ community, and has a keen interest in issues that affect this community such as surrogacy and parentage. She has a history of volunteer work with the Women’s Legal Service Victoria and Southport Community Legal Service.
A former professional fighter, Mei is now just a regular mother to two felines. Outside work, she is a gym junkie by day and a couch potato by night.
While Mei is located at our Melbourne office she also visits our other offices at Dandenong, Werribee and Epping.
