COVID-19 response from RCT Law

Our doors might be closed, but RCT Law is very much open for business; to stand by you and guide you in this time of great uncertainty.

Despite the challenges that Stage 4 lockdown presents for all Victorians, we wish to assure clients that we are 100% committed to providing legal support. As always, We’re driven to help clients move forward with their lives.

During the Stage 3 lock down in April and May, RCT Law adapted its legal services to our clients' need for legal advice via phone, video communications and socially distanced private client meetings for the signing of critical documents. Our legal team has also since been fast adopters to technology advancements in the court system across the State. Clients have welcomed these changes and the firm experienced increased enquiries during July.

Please rest assured that we are focused on continuing to assist you during this unprecedented event.

The safety and wellbeing of our clients and people is our number one priority.

In response to COVID-19, RCT Law remains open for business despite having closed our 22 office doors in the interest of public safety and to protect our clients and staff.

Our legal teams are continuing to work on existing client files and are available to deal with all new enquiries. We’re supporting our teams during this time and those who can complete their work from home are accommodated to do so.

We encourage all existing and new clients to call 1300 366 441, or contact us by email using the form on this page or at enquiries@rctlaw.com.au and we can assure you are contacted by our legal team within 24 hours.

All existing or new appointments with lawyers or legal assistants will be via phone or video conference. If there is an urgent need for documents to be signed, clients will be contacted and specific arrangements will be made for them.

Please rest assured we are well equipped to deal with the restrictions imposed by the pandemic and despite all challenges, matters will continue to progress at a time when clients need us most.

RCT has recently experienced a sharp increase in legal enquires around Wills and Probate, and Family and Relationship Law as a result of COVID-19. It has become very clear people are depending on us. Please follow our social media feeds and the legal blogs on our website over the coming days as we plan to share legal advice to current enquiries.

Meanwhile, please take care of yourself and your loved ones and be comforted that we’re going to get through this, together.

Best wishes,

Ron Pearce,
Managing Partner
